FINANCE DEPARTMENT
The department is responsible for developing and implementing the company’s financial and investment strategy through full implementation of the Accounting, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting and Cost Control, Taxation management and Cashflow management and Audit functions of the Company. The office is also accountable for building, developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
Diverse portfolio of functions within Botswana Ash including Legal & Administration services, Finance, and Information Computer Technology as well as Materials falls within the Finance department.
PROCESS AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
The department exist to manage the process engineering and product research and development functions to achieve the vision, mission and values of Botash.
HUMAN CAPITAL DEPARTMENT
The department provide direction and guidance in all human capital activities in line with the legislation and best practice, delivering service excellence and positively promoting the business brand aligned with the overall business strategy and employment legislation.
OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT
Operations department formulates production processes and executes the overall departmental/business unit strategy and provide functional thought leadership to ensure production reliability and efficiency whilst determining and ensuring quality control and safety standards.
MAINTENANCE AND PROJECTS DEPARTMENT
Maintenance and Projects department integrates the operations and strategies of a business across a wide array of products, services, ideas, and cultures where the role of human resource managers is constantly evolving. The office is also responsible for management and improvement of engineering and maintenance capabilities to sustain high levels of safety, legal compliance, plant availability, reliability and integrity.
SALES AND MARKETING DEPARTMENT
Sales and Marketing is responsible for the overall marketing and sales function of the business and ensuring correct and effective projection of the Company image, values, and culture.
